Thinking Critically and Problem Solving (while pretending to be astronauts)

We watched a video about space travel and pretended that we were astronauts. Our ship "broke down" and we lost all our tools! We brainstormed and discussed what kind of tools we really needed. We then pretended a pile of random items were items we could make tools out of. Students worked together and individually to create useful tools to help us survive and get back to Earth. Everyone presented their tool and had to explain why it was important. Check them out! Ask your child what their tool did.
