To further personalize learning in Kindergarten, students were given a choice in how they wanted to show mastery or understanding of the basic plant cycle (seed, plant, flower, fruit/vegetable). They could choose to illustrate the cycle for an apple or pumpkin and were given the choice to illustrate the cycle on an iPad (screen chomp app), through drawing it, or creating an art project from construction paper. They loved having the choices and everyone was able to choose a way that they were excited about! Go K-1!
Note: Not all of the iPad projects have been uploaded yet. I also plan on taking photos of the physical projects.
