Welcome back from break! I hope everyone found some time to rest, relax, and enjoy the company of others.  This week is a big week, as we will start building some serious words by introducing "a" and it's short vowel sound.  This is the week where students will really start becoming true readers!  How exciting!

Also, lesson 5 homework will not be due until this coming Friday.  Thanks!

  • Phonological Awareness: rhyming words
  • Alliteration: recognizing words that start with the same sound
  • Reviewing High-Frequency Words: I, a, my, the, go, can, to
