Greetings to all of the parents of Mr. Thorpe's Kindergarten class!
My name is Sara McCue and I am excited to be coordinating the classroom baskets and Silent Auction items for Mr. Thorpe's class at this year's carnival.
On April 28th our school will be holding it's biggest fundraiser, The Shirley Hills Silent Auction which is in conjunction with the Annual Carnival. I'm helping by collecting donations for the Silent Auction, and the Classroom Gift Baskets. This year our Basket Theme is Summer Fun. Here is a list of items that would help us with our theme:
Floats, Sunscreen, Flip Flops, Pool Toys, Beach Towels, Goggles, Diving sticks, cooler, beach chairs, water toys, super soakers, umbrella, Popsicle molds, Picnic Supplies, etc...
We are also in need of additional items for the Silent Auction. Do you have game tickets you could donate? Unused gift cards? A vacation property? Unwanted gifts? or do you have a great connection to a donation which you think would be great for our school? If so please contact me or Jennifer Velarde (jennifer.velarde@me.com).
Each classroom has a donation bag. Please send your donations to the school by April 16th, so that I can get our basket prepared and on display in our school Library. If you prefer to send a monetary donation, I will use the money to help buy items that would fit our theme.
