A Note From Mr. T

Hello and Happy Friday!

I hope all of you have a great spring break, whether your going on a trip or staying in town (which will feel tropical if it's really going to be in the 60's!).  The kindergarten students have definitely earned a break, as they have worked so hard and made tremendous leaps of progress.

A few notes and reminders before we depart.

The lesson 20 homework coming home today will not be due until the Friday we return, which is March 23rd.  We also have spring pictures on that Friday and forms for that are also coming home today.

Our Lowry Nature Center field trip is coming up on Tuesday, April 3rd.  We are in need of one more volunteer to accompany us on the big yellow bus.  Let me know if you are able!  Also, all parents are more than welcome to meet us there, just like we did for the apple orchard.

Finally, we have some new medallions in the works.  The new ones include counting by 2s (all the way to 30), counting by 5s and 10s to 100, telling time (on the hour), identifying and counting basic coins (penny, nickel, dime, quarter), and rhyming.  So, if you want to keep the school momentum going during the week, definitely work on these skill and as always, keep reading!

Have a fantastic break everyone!  I can't wait to hear about all the adventures!

Thanks.
