The Kindergarteners are cruising along! They are all officially readers now and everyone got the chance to read me a story last week. I am so proud of everyone's hard work and excitement for reading and school in general. Keep reading! Imagine where we'll be in May!

- Working on drawing conclusions
- Starting to use exclamation points in writing
- Robust Vocabulary: Reviewing whirl, blustery, prefer, fading, arrives, slumbering, perhaps, warn, property, creeps, nestle, delight
- Rereading Winter Lullaby By Barbara Seuling and What Will The Weather Be Like Today? By Paul Rogers
- Starting Chapter 7, which pertains to patterns in numbers
- Working with hundred charts (recognizing the various number patterns)
- Counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s
- Even/Odd
- Ordinal numbers
- We will complete our fourth engineering experiment this week. Our goal will be to construct a Lego raft the floats. We'll post pictures!
