November 14-18

It was so wonderful seeing all of you at conferences.  It's even more wonderful to know that we are on the same page and have an open line of communication to ensure that your child receives a meaningful Kindergarten experience. That means the world to me.  I couldn't do any of this without your help, and for that, thank you.

Here's how the week is looking.

Math:
  • Continuing to practice writing our number 0-10
  • Reviewing various aspects of a number line
  • We will analyze and use data from a graph
  • Work in our math journals to solve problems
Reading:
  • Reviewing letter D
  • High frequency word: he
  • Robust Vocabulary: Reviewing words from previous two weeks.
  • Reviewing and rereading last two stories.
  • Working on developing strong sense of characters and beginning, middle, and end in stories
  • Centers on Wednesday and Thursday (look for some fun Turkey Day projects coming up)
  • Using the iPads on Tuesday and Thursday to create our own stories and practice recognizing and recreating the beginning, middle, and end of a story.
Science:
  • Starting new engineering unit on Wednesday: will post pictures

Other News:
  • Monday: Innisbrook Product Pick Up (3:30-6:30)
  • Tuesday: PTA meeting at 6:30 (free childcare available!)
Have a great week.
