Hope everyone had a nice long weekend and found the time to enjoy the beautiful weather. What a great fall thus far!
We have a busy few weeks ahead of us, so let's take a look at what this week is shaping up to be.
Math:
- Many lesson on the smartboard
- Using itouches on Wednesday
- Working on becoming confident in writing and recognizing numbers 1-5
- Working with a number line
- Introducing estimation
- Working on the letter A (and reviewing already covered letters)
- High frequency word review (the, my, go, I, a)
- Reviewing Rovust vocabulary words from the last few weeks.
- Skill of the Week: alliteration
- Recognizing beginning, middle, and end in stories
- Rereading past stories
- Working in stations on various projects (Wednesday & Thursday)
- Watch out for some fun Halloween projects too!
Other News:
- Tuesday: Picture retakes
- We have started rollerskating in gym: please send a helmet to school if you have one.
- Please turn in your Grandfriend Day slips if you haven't yet.
