Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful weekend! Vikings won, so there's something new, right?
Anyway, here's a breakdown of what we're covering in Kindergarten this week.
Math:
- Starting chapter 3, which is all about the numbers 0-5!
- We will start making our very own math books this week
- We will use the smartboard and use the itouches some time this week
- Working on the letter C
- High frequency word: go (reviewing I, my, the, and a)
- Robust Vocabulary:appetite, savor, urgeny, aroma, surround, tradition
- Skill of the Week: rhyming words (this should be fun!)
- Reading the story "Bee-bim Bop!"
- We are also going to learn about "sentences" and work on our writing conventions!
- Centers on Wednesday and Thursday (lots of cool projects in store for this week!)
Science:
- Making tree observations and recording our results in our tree books.
- Investigating questions we have about trees
Other News:
- Monday: Innisbrook Orders Due
- Tuesday: Meeting our 4th Grade Buddies (Mrs. Henkels' Class)
