We are ready to delve into our second full week. Everyone is making friends, getting the routines down, and growing quickly as learners. It makes my job so rewarding when I see 20 bright students walk into the class who are all excited to see what their day in school has in store.
Here's a brief breakdown of what we'll cover this week.
Math: Chapter 2
- We're starting our pattern unit and continuing to learn about graphs!
- We will know about all sorts of patterns before long!
- Many of our lessons will be on the Smart Board!
- The letters Rr (handwriting and recognition)
- High frequency word "a" and reviewing "I"
- Robust Vocabulary: differ, stalking mellow, automatic, perfectly, resemblance (wow!)
- Reading the story "You and Me."
- Wednesday: Deardorff Apple Orchard (1-3:15pm)
- Everyone should have gotten their "week 1" homework sheet in their white Friday folders. Those can come back any time this week.
